Reporting Migration
The Right Way!

Our trainings are designed with the latest research and insights to support accurate, balanced reporting on migration in the media.

About the Media Hub

The media hub is Diaspora Africa's training arm. It is committed to offering free and accessible training for African journalists reporting migration and launched its first cohort in July 2024. The training, offered by experts in the field-, is designed to equip journalists and media professionals with the tools to navigate biased and uninformed reporting regarding migration.
We believe that hegemonic narratives about migration continue to shape the media-, and we want to ensure that those hegemonies are confronted with ethics and accountability.
